Alex de Pelleport has spent more than thirty years across military aviation, intelligence, defence and aerospace.
He began his military career in the French Air Force as a fighter pilot, flying single-seater aircraft specialised in air-to-air combat. Following a serious flying accident that ended his fighter career, he retrained as a military pilot assigned to special operations and intelligence missions in various conflict and war zones. He later joined the operational branch of the French External Intelligence Service (DGSE), where he conducted intelligence and clandestine operations under assumed identities.
Following his operational career, Alex held senior leadership positions within the international defence and aerospace industry in Europe, Asia and Australia. He now advises organisations across the defence, intelligence, space and national security sectors and supports a number of Australian sovereign capability initiatives.
Alex holds a Master's degree with Honours in Risk Analysis and Business Intelligence from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He is also the bestselling author of a number of internationally published espionage novels inspired by the realities of intelligence and clandestine operations.
Alex was appointed a Chevalier of the French Legion of Honour in recognition of his service to France.
